The Dallas Cowboys did not agree to a long-term contract with Dak Prescott on Wednesday, meaning the star quarterback will play the 2020 season under the franchise tag. The tag will pay him $31.4 million and make him the the highest-paid player in team history – at least through the 2020 season. Doug says Prescott should look to Kirk Cousins for reasons that the franchise tag might be a blessing in disguise.
