Packers add WR Malik Turner

After losing Devin Funchess for the season as he opted out of the 2020 campaign, the Green Bay Packers scooped up wide receiver Malik Turner on Wednesday.

Turner has 17 catches for 265 yards and a touchdown in his two-year career, both with the Seattle Seahawks.

From the Packers' press release:

The Green Bay Packers have signed WR Malik Turner and released S Frankie Griffin. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Wednesday.
Turner, a 6-foot-2, 202-pound third-year player out of the University of Illinois, originally signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2018. Over the last two seasons, he spent time on the Seahawks’ practice squad and active roster, playing in 21 games with three starts. Turner registered 17 receptions for 265 yards (15.6 avg.) and a touchdown. He will wear No. 82 for the Packers.
