Packers fend off Seahawks 28-23 to advance to NFC Championship

Following two seasons in which the team didn't make the playoffs, the Packers are now advancing to the NFC Championship Game.

After taking a big lead into halftime, the Green Bay Packers were able to hold off the Seattle Seahawks 28-23 in the NFC Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs. Green Bay will play at San Francisco in the NFC Championship in one week.

Green Bay led 21-3 at halftime, but Seattle was able to rally to make it a one-score game in the fourth quarter.

Aaron Rodgers connected with Davante Adams for two scores and a number of big plays, while Jimmy Graham played a big role in helping the Packer get the win.

Aaron Jones rushed for two touchdowns for the Packers as well.

Green Bay's defense sacked Russell Wilson five times in the game, including Preston Smith's late fourth-quarter sack to give the Packers the ball back with under three minutes to play.
