After Week 17's conclusion, the Green Bay Packers earned the #2 seed in the NFC and will play the evening game on January 12 in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs against New Orleans, Philadelphia, or Seattle.
San Francisco's Week 17 win on Sunday Night Football over Seattle gave the 49ers the #1 seed. The result of the seeding means that the Packers wouldn't face their divisional rivals, the Minnesota Vikings, until the NFC Championship.
Green Bay's game will be the final contest of the Divisional Round. The Packers will find out their opponent following the Minnesota at New Orleans contest on Sunday, January 5 in the Wild Card round.
