With the 12th pick in the first round (12th overall) in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers selected Michigan edge rusher Rashan Gary.
NFL.com notes in his draft profile that he was the top recruit nationally in the 2016 class. From the profile:
"Five-star defensive end prospect coming into Michigan who leaves with those same five-star traits and loads of potential but a lack of development in key areas."
NFL reporter Ian Rapoport notes that Gary was flagged for a torn labrum.
The Packers will pick at #30 in the first round later Thursday night.
