Dan Patrick doesn't have a problem with how the officials called Sunday's roughing the passer penalty against Clay Matthews, because that's how it's written in the rule book.
Patrick says that if the rules say you can't land on the quarterback with your full body weight, then defenders need to follow the rules or risk being flagged by the officials. That echoes what other hosts nationally are saying about the play.
Matthews has been flagged three straight weeks for roughing calls, the past two of which have caused an uproar among the Packers' fan base.
