HSBB: Jefferson, Fort Atkinson honor Jefferson player killed in crash

Once again, in the face of tragedy, high school athletics offer ways for communities to rally around and support its members during trying times.

JV players from Jefferson and Fort Atkinson came together Monday night to honor Jefferson sophomore Kaden Johnson, who was killed in a crash along with his father Brian on Friday night.

According to Fox 6 Milwaukee, the money collected during the game during the 50/50 raffle and other donations would benefit the Johnson family.

Jefferson defeated Fort Atkinson in the varsity game, 65-60. Jefferson will host Brodhead on Thursday night in a Rock Valley Conference game, with the JV game to start at 5:45 p.m.
