Marquette picked up a big road win over DePaul on Tuesday night, 92-73. Markus Howard scored 36 points to lead the Golden Eagles, and moved into 5th place on Marquette's all-time scoring list.
Howard, who is just eight points shy of fourth place on the Marquette all-time scoring list, added four rebounds and three assists in the win.
Sam Hauser added 17 points, with Sacar Anim chipping in with a dozen for Marquette. Femi Olujobi led DePaul with 19 points.
Marquette sits just a half-game out of first in the Big East, trailing Villanova. Those two teams meet February 27. A week from Wednesday, Marquette resumes play against Butler on the home floor, seeking a season sweep of the Bulldogs.
