MANITOWOC (WLUK) -- The Fourth of July parade and fireworks display are still on in Manitowoc, despite thecoronavirus pandemic.
Mayor Justin Nickels says in a Facebook post that the parade will begin at 10 a.m. and will have an expanded route to allow viewers to socially distance themselves along the route. Parade entrants will not be allowed to distribute candy or pamphlets.
The fireworks show is scheduled for dusk at the south pier on Lake Michigan. Families are encouraged to watch the fireworks from other locations in order to practice social distancing.
