QUEEN: Bohemian Rhapsody Gets Live Aid Exactly Right

You won't believe how close the Live Aid scene at the end of Bohemian Rhapsody comes to Queen's actual performance at the 1985 concert.

A gamer and video creator with the Twitter handle @ThisGameIsEasy synched the two side-by-side, and it's uncanny how precisely the movie captures what the band, and particularly Freddie Mercury, did that day. (The video seems to have been blocked on that site, but preserved elsewhere.)

In other Bohemian Rhapsody news, Rami Malek will receive the Breakthrough Performance Award at the 2019 Palm Springs International Film Festival. Brian May tweeted the news, adding "CONGRATULATIONS RAMI ! World Beater ! Bri."

Bohemian Rhapsody has passed the Johnny Cash film Walk the Line to become the second-highest-grossing music bio-pic in the U.S., trailing only Straight Outta Compton. The Queen film has sold $127-million in tickets, and needs $34-million more to beat out the N.W.A story.

The Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack is still in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 this week, though it's dropped from number-three to number-seven.
