John Daly withdraws from American Family Championship

John Daly withdrew on Wednesday from the American Family Insurance Championship, which starts Friday at University Ridge Golf Course. 

Daly, 51, is being replaced by seven-time PGA Tour winner Bill Glasson, of Fresno, Calif.

Glasson, 57, will take Daly's 9:40 a.m. tee time on Friday, joining a group that includes Miguel Angel Jimenez and Scott McCarron. 

The first round of the tournament starts at 8:50 a.m. Friday.

Madison residents Jerry Kelly and Steve Stricker are scheduled to tee off Friday on the first hole at 9:20 and 9:30 a.m., respectively.
