Bucks Lose Big To Celtics 140-99

The Milwaukee Bucks had the opportunity to extend their lead for the number one seed in the Eastern Conference on Thursday night, but squandered that opportunity with a 140-99 blowout loss to the Boston Celtics.

The 41-point loss is the second-largest home defeat in franchise history.

This was the second night of a back-to-back for the Bucks and like the loss to Denver on Saturday, they seemed to run out of gas.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 24 points. But no other player scored more than 13 for Milwaukee.

Jayson Tatum scored 40 points for Boston and Jaylen Brown added 30 points.

Milwaukee now owns a two-game lead on Boston for first place in the Eastern Conference.

The Bucks are 55-22 and will host the Philadelphia 76ers next on Sunday night at 7:00pm.
