How Mike Budenholzer fits with the Milwaukee Bucks

With the impending announcement of Mike Budenholzer as the new head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks coming later Thursday, here's a couple of ways Budenholzer fits in with the current Bucks' roster.

First, Budenholzer has coached up-and-coming teams with collections of good talent at the top. With the Atlanta Hawks, Budenholzer led the team to 60 victories in the regular season. Now with the Bucks, he'll have Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo at his disposal, although a good deal of the roster could be overturned in the near future.

Second, by involving Middleton and Antetokounmpo, the Milwaukee Bucks allowed their star players to be involved in the process of hiring the next Bucks head coach. While neither player has any decision-making power, the gesture gives them a better sense of being valued by the franchise, according to ESPN's Tim Legler.
