Brewers pull away to defeat Diamondbacks 5-1 Thursday night

Orlando Arcia's RBI base hit in a three-run eighth inning for Milwaukee broke a 1-1 tie and helped send the Brewers to victory, 5-1 over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday night.

Ryan Braun added a solo home run in the ninth inning for insurance. Lorenzo Cain robbed a home run in the first inning.

Zach Davies allowed just five hits and one run through seven innings, and the bullpen held Arizona off the board the rest of the way.

Milwaukee has now won three games in a row.

The four-game series continues in Arizona Friday night with Jhoulys Chacin on the mound for the Brewers.
