Brewers wrap up 2018 season with press conference

An incredible run to the NLCS and a decisive Game 7 at Miller Park offers hope that the Milwaukee Brewers aren't too far away from returning to the spotlight again in 2019. Craig Counsell and David Stearns spoke to the media at the Brewers' season-ending press conference.

Some of the focus was on offseason roster-building. including what the team would do with veterans such as Jonathan Schoop and Eric Thames, as well as the apparent surplus of starting pitching the team has accumulated. As for the guys coming back, most of the core of the team will remain intact, with young players under team control for the foreseeable future and veteran stars like Lorenzo Cain and Christian Yelich not heading anywhere for years to come.
