Milwaukee's 4-0 win over the Chicago Cubs Tuesday was just the second win by the Brewers over the Cubs this season, but Milwaukee evened the series at a game apiece heading into Wednesday's rubber match.
Much has been made about the Brewers' struggles with the Cubs this season, with just one victory in nine tries entering play Tuesday night. With first place on the line, the Brewers came through.
Chase Anderson allowed just one hit in seven innings, and the Brewers' pitchers as a whole allowed only two hits while walking two Cubs in the game.
Travis Shaw drove in all four of Milwaukee's runs.
