Brewers use 7-run 4th inning to beat Diamondbacks 9-2

Milwaukee clubbed Arizona 9-2 on Wednesday afternoon at Miller Park, sweeping the series.

The Brewers scored seven times in the fourth inning, including a three-run home run by Travis Shaw, to get past the struggling Diamondbacks.

Milwaukee is now 31-19, the best 50-game start in franchise history, and winners of 10 of their last 13 games.

Brent Suter gave up two runs in 5 2/3 inning pitched to get the win.

After the game, Brandon Woodruff and Ji-Man Choi were sent down to Triple A, with Ryan Braun and Zach Davies returning to the club for Thursday's game.

The Brewers will take on the New York Mets in a four-game series beginning Thursday night in Milwaukee.
