Wright State holds off Milwaukee 56-54

Loudon Love had 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead Wright State past Milwaukee 56-54 on Thursday night.

Milwaukee got three players into double figures in the loss, led by Darius Roy with 15 points. Jake Wright had 14 points and Amir Allen added 12 for the Panthers, who fell to 9-12.

Wright State's two Wisconsin natives, Billy Wampler (Eau Claire) and Grant Basile (Pewaukee), did not record a point in the Raiders' win.

Milwaukee will face Horizon League-leading Northern Kentucky on the road Saturday. The Panthers fell into a four-way tie for fifth place in the conference at 4-4, while Wright State moved into a tie for second at 5-3, two full games back of Northern Kentucky (7-1).
