In a game in which each bench only managed two points apiece, the Golden Eagles got four players into double figures, as Sacar Anim, Sam Hauser, and Theo John combined for 37 points.
Seton Hall's leading scorer was Myles Powell with 21, who fell a rebound short of a double-double.
Marquette will play at Georgetown on Tuesday night before returning to Fiserv Forum for a pair of home games on January 20 against Providence and January 23 against DePaul.
