Marquette men's basketball announces non-conference schedule

Marquette men's basketball announced their non-conference schedule, and coach Steve Wojciechowski spoke to the media on Tuesday. Also, Marquette's team is still playing in the TBT.

Marquette opens their season against UMBC (the team that upset Virginia in the #16-#1 game in the NCAA Tournament) on November 6 at Fiserv Forum. Some of the other highlights include a road game against Indiana in the Gavitt Tipoff Games on November 14; November 21 and 23 in the Preseason NIT; and seven straight home games leading into the Big East portion of the schedule. The seven-game homestand features Kansas State on December 1, Wisconsin on December 8, and Buffalo on December 21.
