Six MLB Games Postponed Due To Weather
posted by Bill Strange -
Six MLB games slated for Sunday are being postponed due to inclement weather around the country. Cold and rain in Chicago will move the Cubs-Braves match-up to May 14th. The Angels-Royals game in Kansas City will move to June 25th due to temperatures in the thirties. For the third straight day, the Twins and White Sox are being postponed after a snowstorm landed in Minneapolis. There is no make-up date yet for the series. The Blue Jays and Indians got rained out in Cleveland and will play a doubleheader March 3rd.
The Yankees and Tigers had a doubleheader lined up after being rained out Saturday in Detroit, but the rain kept falling to end any hopes of playing Sunday. A split doubleheader is scheduled for June 4th.
