Coming off one his his most volatile season both on and off the field, the farthest thing from Brewer starter Yovani Gallardo's mind was getting the ball on Opening Day...but, that's exactly what is going to happen.

Gallardo will be making a RECORD 5th consecutive start for the Crew on March 31st at Miller Park when the Atlanta Braves come to town for the "Opener." Last season Yovani was 12-10 and posted a 4.18 ERA.

Former Brewer Ben Sheets holds the record for the club with six Opening Day starts, but only 4 consecutively.
