San Jose Sharks defenseman Dan Boyle joined Jay Mohr Sports on Wedensday prior to their series against the LA Kings...He said there is definitely bad blood between the two teams and told us one guy in particular he would like to put into the wall.

Mohr: “Last year the Kings bounced you (Sharks) from the playoffs, is there bad blood between these two teams?”

Boyle: “Absolutely! Obviously, playing them as many times as we do, and there was the injury of course. Dustin Brown hit our young rookie (Tomas) Hertl and took him out for most of the season. That is going to be a subplot to the series. The two teams are from California and California hockey is in a pretty good spot with Anaheim doing real well too. We want to come out of this.”

Mohr: “Who is a guy on the Kings that rubs you the wrong way?”

Boyle: “I think there is going to be a lot of talk about Brown’s hit on our rookie Hertl. I think he is one of those guys that you hate to play against. I’m sure his teammates love him. He is one of those guys that it would be nice to put him in the boards… He is a pretty strong competitor.”
