Getting Pumped for The Milwaukee Air and Water Show

via onmilwaukee.com by  Jimmy Carlton

After a one-year hiatus, the Milwaukee Air and Water Show is back this weekend, and its bringing the U.S. Navy Blue Angels with it. On July 15-16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. over the beautiful Downtown lakefront, world-class performers and high-speed excitement will make for one of Wisconsin's premier free, family-friendly and unforgettable events of the summer.

Postponed in 2016 due to scheduling conflicts and financial struggles, organizers took the year to plan for the 2017 show, now sponsored by WaterStone Bank and highlighted by the grand return of the iconic Blue Angels. There will be a first-rate lineup of military and civilian performers Saturday and Sunday – in the air, on the water and on the ground – as well as an array of activities for children, merchandise stands and food and beverage vendors.

Considered one of the top air-and-water displays in the Midwest, the Milwaukee show started in 2004 and has grown into the state's largest free event, according to organizers. In addition to being a striking visual and experiential spectacle for people of all ages, the show supports the American armed services, brings visitors to the city and promotes our local economy.

Most of all, of course, it's just really cool. Click here for seven reasons to be excited for the 2017 Milwaukee Air and Water Show
