The Packers start preseason play tonight at 7.  Yesterday, we talked with Justin Hull, from the Score in Appleton, to get ready for tonight's battle between the Packers and the Arizona Cardinals.

Hull on Jermichael Finley:

I think if you’re Rodgers you have to do everything you can to be on the right page with Finley because [of] the departures that they’ve had.  He came into the league in 2007, 2008 was his rookie year, and we’ve been sold on this potential and this breakout player that one of these days is going to be one of the top tight ends in the league.  Well it’s 2013; it’s a contract year and we’re all waiting to see it happen. He’s going to be a huge part of the offense, whether or not people like Jermichael Finley, people are going to have to get used to him.  I’m sure Rodgers is doing whatever he can to make sure those two are on the same page heading into the season, because he can’t lose another guy in the locker room. He can’t lose anybody in that locker room specifically when it comes to his weapons, because there aren’t as many as there used to be.

Hull on David Bakhtiari:

I remember on draft day he was telling the media that he was surprised at how low he fell, going in the fourth round.  He fits right in to that MO of Ted Thompson when it comes to drafting mid-round offensive lineman that can come in and can contribute.  He’s going to have a lot on his shoulders this preseason if he is [going to be] able to hold onto that left tackle position heading into the year, protecting Aaron Rodgers backside.
