Billy Currington has surrendered to police in connection with his indictment in Georgia.
Savannah's WSAV says the country star went to the Chatham County Jail to turn himself in on Thursday. The Chatham County Grand Jury indicted Currington Wednesday for allegedly making terroristic threats against Charles Harvey Ferrelle.
The country star was also indicted on a charge of abuse of an elder person, due to Ferrelle's age. The case stems from an incident near Tybee Island last week. Ferrelle claims Currington started screaming at him and threatened his life while he was carrying his customers on a boat tour.
While police responded to the incident, Currington was not arrested at the time.
